Here at Adventure Club we are passionate about preparing each child for the next step in their lives, no matter what that next step may be. In our Preschool program your student will explore topics such as literacy, mathematics, science, and creativity, all while learning social skills that are valuable to student's success. We are a Christian based facility and teach every child about the love that God has for all people. Bible stories and activities are a major part of our curriculum.
Our preschool age groups are as follows: Part time 2 year olds, part time 3 year olds, Part time 4 year olds, full time 3 year olds, full time 4 year olds, and PreK+ (Age 5). The ages and qualifications for each group can be found on our registration page using the link found under the "About us" tab at the top of this page.
Throughout the year you will receive information about several family involvement activities such as projects that will be done at home and brought to school, and fundraising opportunities. There is a strong emphasis on building family and teacher partnerships and communication is of the utmost importance. You will be able to contact your child's teacher as needed and we expect families to engage with teachers when communication is sent out so that we can ensure that all families are receiving all important information.
Students are encouraged to learn independence skills such as putting on and taking off coats, cleaning up after themselves, and healthy bathroom habits. With the rise of germs, we strive to keep our center clean and sanitized. Aside from teachers and extra staff cleaning all high touch areas multiple times a day, students and staff wash hands and use hand sanitizer often to keep sickness away. See the link to the right to get more information on how to register your child for our preschool program.
In our extended care program students will eat a nutritious lunch, take part in rest time to calm their bodies and refresh for the afternoon, have a snack and continue to build friendships and social/ emotional skills. This added time in our program is great for students that thrive on routine and can benefit from extra time with students their age and helpful staff that are here to help children thrive in their environment.

In our school age program, children will get help with school and homework, assistance in areas where they may need guidance, take time to learn valuable social and emotional skills and form friendships that will last a lifetime!
Once students get off the bus from school, they wash their hands, use the restroom and then get an afternoon snack. Next, they will have time to work on any reading or homework assignments. Students will have time to play outside when the weather permits and free play in the classroom with their peers.
While the time that students spend in our program after school may be short, we strive to leave a lasting impact by discussing bible themes each week that can help them in their day to day lives. These themes include respect, compassion, joy, love and helping others. Adventure Club prides themselves in being a safe and healthy place where students enjoy spending their afternoons before heading home for family time and to refresh for the next day.

Our summer care programs run at a slower pace than our school year programs. We take the time in the summer to unwind and destress from the school year. The school age students (completed K-5) take walking trips to the park in Simpsonville and get to explore surrounding areas once a week with our field trips to places like The Louisville Science Center, the pool, The Louisville Zoo, and The Kentucky Derby Museum. The preschool program has a blast doing water days, picnics and hosts multiple in-house field trips from places like Newport Aquarium, The Louisville Science Center and The Louisville Zoo. All programs participate in fun themed activities each week and get to take part in fun Friday activities like ice cream sundaes, picking from the treasure box, black light dodgeball, and candy bars. We also take special time out of each week to discuss bible stories and to learn about the love of Jesus.
